Question regarding the A-181-2

Question regarding the A-181-2

2019-09-02 by Neil Kagan

Just a quick question: I know that the top half of this module allows for adapting from 3.5mm to 1/4” mono. If I also want to use th bottom half to do the same is this possible? I assume that using a mono jack in a stereo socket isn’t problematic. I’m basically after a way of outputting my two stereo signals via 1/4”.

Regards,

Neil

Hello,

this should work. But you may also modify the module so that the lower section has the same function as the upper one. For this you simply have to set the solder bridges of the lower section in the same way as the upper on (a bit soldering required, simply copy the solder bridge settings from the upper to the lower board).

Best wishes
