I almost ordered the 108 but now I will most surely > order the 107 unless it gets unearthly expensive, the erwik filter that it > is based upon was a tad too expensive for me. > andreas, i`m not even sure that they are completely done designing the a-107 vcf yet. i know they had a prototype but may be doing redesign based on suggested features. i agree, though, that it is something i want to get unless it becomes prohibitively expensive - a sometimes bad side effect of adding those suggested features ! as far as the a-108, though, i got one of these a while back and have been very pleased with it. the 48db/oct filtering is very nice and the 6db/oct output has seen a lot of use, too - its perfect for adding just a touch of filtering to a sound. so, depending on whatever issues are most important to you, you might want to give the a-108 a second look. on the a-109 - well, if it had been available when i first started building up my system, it might have been handy and space saving but having acquired the vc panner and vca`s and vcf`s already it didn`t really say "buy me" to me. maybe in the future after i get other things i feel i need first to augment the system but not now. just my 2 cents worth................ best, dave [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
