New poll for Doepfer_a100

2003-03-25 by Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com

Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the
Doepfer_a100 group:

Would you like Doepfer to make an
attenutator module?

Regarding more detailed layout we will
conduct a later survey about that.

  o Yes, an advanced one
o Yes, but only a basic dual attenuator
o Yes, but only a simple single
  o Not sure
  o No

To vote, please visit the following web page:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Doepfer_a100/surveys?id=11076862

Note: Please do not reply to this message. Poll votes are
not collected via email. To vote, you must go to the Yahoo! Groups
web site listed above.

Thanks!

Regarding the attenutator poll

2003-03-25 by Andreas Lindholm

I just added a vote about the need for an attenuator. As I thought it,
alternative 1 is something like what I proposed earlier with switches for
maximum output levels 5/10/12/15 volts, pos and negative attenutation and
two or more "channels". The second something more like a stripped two
channels version of the a129/3 and alternative 3 some thing like a 4 width
module for one channel. Perhaps like a 180 with just one pot, one input and
three jacks out of the same.

Sounds good, but can you put an attenuator knob on a 4U module?

Re: Regarding the attenutator poll

hello,

a new attenuator/offset-module should be able to handle
audio signals. the a129/3 isn't capable of this,
i think because of the slewlimiter-component.

best wishes

I might be wrong, but isn't this like a 130 without the CV component
and a voltage source patched to one of the inputs?

true, but it would be fine, if we can do this with
the attenuator-module too.
