Doepfer

hi all,

just curious if anyone knows if i need that external input module to 
patch from my MS-20 into the A-100 (audio signals and CV),  i havent 
tryed it yet as i dont have any TS to mini cables on hand.  i know 
they operate differently as far as the scaling; i have a kenton midi 
to CV int. for the MS, just curious about being able to patch to and 
fro each machine.  thanks,

Hi Jed,
I wouldn't say you need it as you can feed the audio out from MS20 
to the doepfer VCF fine, the level isn't very loud but not too 
quiet, close to the noise barrier though.
If you're planning on doing it alot then I'd recomend the a119 as it 
makes the sound very loud and clean.
CV in and outs are no problem.
Also if you're planning on playing or triggering the a100 from the 
MS20 keyboard you'll need the a165 (trigger modifier) module to 
invert the signal)

hi jed,
you will needthe a119 ext.in module to patch the
output of the ms20 to the a100.but of course you can
cross-patch between the two as far as cv's(and the
ms20 noise outs) are concerned.watch the
voltages,though...
