Bakis,

Yes the Arp2600 has a nice filter and is different enough to warrant
building it. The Analogue Solutions SY02 is a fine MS20 filter clone and
as I have one I would not buy an A100 version.

But lets get this development programme in order.

Dieter has a number of really exiting modules planned and at least at
prototype stage.

I would rather Doepfer concentrate on sorting out any issues and
delivering those modules rather than divert resource into designing
something new.

I know that the development cycle is fairly long and in order to keep
momentum Dieter needs to plan ahead, BUT the prototype TKB was shown
nearly a year ago. The a154 is a must as it will enhance the A155
functionality in really positive ways, and the SOU modules are really
exciting.

If Dieter wants to start planning modules for the future, which is
great, the more esoteric/unusual the better.

After all, I would still like to see a bank sine wave VCO's in a module
for additive fun (although the new A Systems digital module will
probably fulfil this function) or even stick a DSP chip behind a front
panel, add some CV inputs and get someone to programme a granular
module. (hell with a decent DSP chip and some RAM, the module could be
programmed to do all sorts of things. I love analogue but sound is
what's important not how's it's generated.

My opinion.

regards

	hi list,
dieter doepfer asked me to ask the group,if there is
any interest in yet another filter module(we're
talking about the ms20 filter or the arp2600
	filter...).
	i know i'm not!well,if doepfer releases such a filter
	AFTER the
	a107,a154,a133,a149-1,a149-2,a149-3,TKS,a172,vactrols,other
chaos modules....i may buy it. ;-)
	bakis.

hi david,
i agree with you on this!the more esoteric/exotic the
better!i would ,also, like to see an additive sine osc.
