Doepfer

quick question:
are there any a177 ext foot controller owners out there?  i'd be 
curious to know what cv pedals work well with it.  i've had a 
doepfer cv pedal on back-order since last spring (when i got the 
177) but no sign of it.  so i'm looking for anything else that works.  
i assume a cv pedal is a cv pedal...how much variance could 
there be?(!).  anybody know of a conflict?  i'll probably just get a 
moogerfooger locally and take it back if it doesn't work.  thought 
i'd check in here first in case someone knows of a universally 
effective, inexpensive pedal that works better.  anyone?
