 i don`t have the capability to scan anything but i have the  all the issues 
of  "polyphony" that were published. they did print articles on both phasers 
and flanger for synth modules.  the difference in this application did have 
to do with the spacing of the peaks in the comb. there was some additional 
material in  "electronotes" where they combined both things, delay line and 
many phase shift stages, to produce an enhanced comb filter. this was done to 
modify the distribution of the peaks in the freq. response.
