Hi all, There is a compatibility mode that you can use to run older programs like EDE under Windows XP.. Here is how: 1. Open Windows Explorer, and locate the the EDE program file (the .exe file the starts the program) 2. Point your mouse at the file and RIGHT click the mouse. 3. Click on PROPERTIES, a window will come up. 4. Click on the COMPATIBILITY tab in that window. 5. you will see a box called "compatibility mode" Click on the check box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for: " 6. AFter clicking that checkbox, right beneath it will be a drop list that will offer " Windows 95, Windows 98, NT, 2000" 7. I suggest setting it to windows 95 8. Click on OK at the bottom. 9. After clicking on OK, go and doubleclick on the program in Windows Explorer. It will now run in a windows 95 environment. Try it and let me know if it works for you ! You can use this for any older programs that are not compatible with Windows XP FYI Rich G.
