Sounds like your VFX needs the keyboard fix or a thorough inside cleaning... Look into the file section of the group to learn how to do it.

I have a VFX-SD that is also playing tones when you push the keys that are not correct. The machine was turned on with something laying on the keys by accident. It has not worked properly since. I gues this is a similar situation. Can someone help me also.?

I was playin a banquet last weekend. Half way through the first set
my VFX went crazy. This is happening more frequently in the last
month. Usually I need to re-initialize, re-load and go. This time it
was NO-GO. Randam tones and notes were sounding, and keyboard
sometimes did not work. I plug the damn thing Monday and it runs OK.
Does any body know why this is happening?
What needs to be repaired?
