Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I recently posted a question about selecting sequences for my sd1 
from a midi foot controller. I am experiencing some difficulty in 
that the sequencer will not advance to the next sequence, with the 
midi command, while playing. Are there some settings I am over 
looking, or is it not possible to change sequences in this manner.  
I would like to change sequences without having to double click the 
soft button.
