for this discussion, forget the 12 song tracks. lay down a drum loop on track 1. Then let the seq play, & record a bass track. Now play any other instrument you want, and record it. I think that will accomplish what you want. When you are done with that, do as you spoke of & change to another seq to change the drum track, or what ever.
