Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

for this discussion, forget the 12 song tracks.  lay down a drum loop on
track 1.  Then let the seq play, & record a bass track.  Now play any other
instrument you want, and record it.  I think that will accomplish what you
want.  When you are done with that, do as you spoke of & change to another
seq to change the drum track, or what ever.  Then when you have all the
different beats & seq you want, chain them together in song mode, where you
can define the order, reps, mute & un-mute tracks on different reps, etc.
