Giebler's EDE formats disks anyway when writing an image. So if you have formatted a disk in the SD this probably correct formattig would be destroyed as soon as you write the disk with EDE in a 'wrong' environment (look at previous mails). Formatting in the PC is useless since this is a completely different format.
