disk formats

well i admit i havent exactly tried the highest quality disks, but my
VFXSD (not the SD1) formatted them ok, so did my PC, but geiblers
wouldnt have it. if i could ask though, what is the method for
formatting these disks before i use them in geibler? do i format them
on my VFX then use them in geibler or do i format them on my PC then
use them in geibler? either way ive tried both and neither seems to
work. i have just won some DD disks on ebay and will try them when
they arive. until then though. someone please tell me the EXACT
method for formating these disks to copy the sequencer OS onto.

Cheers
Miles

Giebler's EDE formats disks anyway when writing an image. So if you have
formatted a disk in the SD this probably correct formattig would be
destroyed as soon as you write the disk with EDE in a 'wrong' environment
(look at previous mails).

Formatting in the PC is useless since this is a completely different format.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
