Re: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Projected Battery Life/sequencer

Jay,
to solve your sequencer problem, look at
http://www.emu.com/support/files/download2.asp?Centric=757&Platform=1
You'll find the 4.10 and the 3.00 there as well as the free version of Giebler's EDE.
For the version 2.10 choose VFX as product (they obviously
mean the VFX SD when they refer to VFX since the VFX doesn't have a
sequencer).
For a VFX-SD the 2.10 is the latest version.
For the SD1 version 4.10 should work. This depends on your firmware version
which should also be 4.10. If it is below 4.10
To find out what firmware version (ROM) you have press PRESET+MASTER
Software, ROM, and KPC (keyboard frimware, not relevant here) will be indicated.
However, EDE cannot be used easily with current Windows systems. I've dealt
with this in an earlier thread. Have a look at msg nr 1322 in the boards archive:
Let me know if this helps.
Hans
