AW: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Re: controlling SD-1 with a VFXSD

2005-02-14 by Hans Artmann

3 options:
1) sd1 (midi out) -> (midi in) DX7II (midi through) -> (midi in) laptop
2) sd1 (midi out) -> (midi in ) laptop (midi out) -> DX7II
check if your sampler SW can be configured to put midi signals THROUGH
3) sd1 (midi out) -> (midi in) splitter (midi out1) -> DX7II
; ; (midi out2) -> laptop
as TIm mentioned

I don't know much
about midi but I tried to connect the DX7II to the midi thru of my SD-1 and
that doesn't work
(probably for an obvious reason). ; Can anyone tell me how I can connect my
laptop and my DX7II
to recieve commands from my SD-1? Thanks in advance and my apologies if
this is off topic.
