Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I have a number of  VFX sd floppy disks with sounds patches 
and demos- to use these do I need to dump them to the internal 
memory?  This destroys what is stored there.  Is there any way to 
use the disk sounds w/o losing the sounds in the internal bank?
