I think you've to change the mainboard and drill additional holes in the back for the AUX output which is not available on the VFX. A change of ROMs is definitely not enough - to install a floppy drive you need a connector on the mainboard which is n1ot there in a VFX. Sorry to say that. However, the VFX is great when you don't miss the sequencer. Ahh, that takes me to another point: there are additional buttons for the sequencer part... No way to add those! If you really want an SD - buy one and sell the VFX. It's cheaper than any upgrade could be --ok, I thought so some time ago and kept both...
