Re: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] SD1 Seq Memory?

2005-05-01 by Sandy Lane

The standard memory of the SD-1 and the VFXSD is 25,000 notes. The expanded memory is 75,000 notes. To find out if your unit has the sequencer expansion installed press the SEQ CONTROL button (in the Sequencer section) three times. In the upper left corner of the display you will see FREE= a number will be displayed here. If the number is more than 25,000 your unit has the expansion chip installed. This page also tells you which OS version is installed in your unit.
For those who own other Ensoniq synths:
STANDARD MEMORY EXPANDED MEMORY
SQ-1 & SQ-2 9,000 notes 58,000 notes
KS-32 ; 8,500 notes 58,000 notes
TS-10 & TS-12 ; 30,000 notes ; 97,000 notes
This info is from the instructions for installing the sequencer expansion chip.

Subject: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] SD1 Seq Memory?

Is there a way to check if my SD1 has the standard or upgraded seq
memory?
