Press Seq Control three times. You'll see the amount of free memory displayed as number of events. The standard is 25503 and the max upgraded is 74655 events. To see exactly what you have you must erase the sequencer memory first. Press and hold Preset while pressing the upper middle soft button. The upgrade kit is named SQX-70 V. The standard memory of the SD-1 and the VFXSD is
25,000 notes. The expanded memory is 75,000 notes. To find out if your unit has
the sequencer expansion installed press the SEQ CONTROL button (in the Sequencer
section) three times. In the upper left corner of the display you will see FREE=
a number will be displayed here. If the number is more than 25,000 your unit has
the expansion chip installed. This page also tells you which OS version is
installed in your unit.
