There are a lot ways to get sounds to Your VFX - U could also use a SYS-EX utility to transfer the sounds via a MIDI cable - thats pretty nice to, as U can of course load whole banks this way too. The problem U have with GieblerEDE is that Your floppydrive OR BIOS doesn´t support the structure the Ensoniq disks need. I think it has something to do with the (OLD) PC-floppys being 720KB and the Ensoniq using 800KB. (Someone told me that an old ATARI/AMIGA drive could be used if the internal floppy of the VFX went out, although I donn´t know if it´s true). I´ll look for some files I have, testing the BIOS of your HP for EDE compatability (unless U have done that), and get back to this as soon as possible! -- In Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com, "numaniod2005" <numaniod2005@y...> wrote: > I guess from the lack of response, know one can help me on this?.
