I have now relocated the synth into the living room. but it's about 9 feet from the pc,It's on near nearest free wall space! What would I need to conect the two together (apart from a very long lead) the pc has USB ports on the back and a sireil port on the sound card, but no midi sockets?. Maybe an SYSex file tranfer would be best in the end? --- In Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com, "Claus" <clauzii@j...> wrote: > There are a lot ways to get sounds to Your VFX - U could also use a > SYS-EX utility to transfer the sounds via a MIDI cable - thats pretty > nice to, as U can of course load whole banks this way too. > > The problem U have with GieblerEDE is that Your floppydrive OR BIOS > doesn´t support the structure the Ensoniq disks need.
