Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Seeing fuses mentioned.......is it possible that on my VFX-SD a blown fuse could incapacitate the disk drive to leave the message DISK DRIVE NOT READY?   thanks, Earl

Try checking the fuses.  There are 5 fuses the top two sometimes blow,
if you have a bad connection on a ribbon cable.  check those too. 
fuses one and two ( the top two) will cause no display/ seemingly dead
machine if one or both is bad.
