I have had the same problem with my vfxsd for years. No keyboard. I have been using the sequencer through another controller and the disk drive, though. And I agree getting another one on ebay or in wantads might be the best thing. I picked up a vfx this way that works great--but no disk drive on the vfx. So I currently use it and back up all my presets in cartridges and save them to disk on the keyboard-less vfxsd's drive. I would be interested in restoring the vfxsd, which has been through a lot of performances, travel, and general bumping around. Would like to know more about theSoniq. I also need to get my ESQ-1 fixed, too. It's a good controller keyboard. Any ideas where to go for help? Will theSoniq address the ESQ-1? I live in the Northeast---thanks.
