I have never seen this warning (maybe I'm not the
best to answer this) but I did just order a battery WITH HOLDER from route66 for
around 13.95+4.25 domestic S&H. The idea is to solder in the new
holder, then future battery changes do not need soldering. I don't know how long
the second battery will last. my first lasted 10 years.
