I got lucky and got my VFX with a case for $50 on ebay

I don't know anything about the upgrade, but I suppose if the upgrade were possible and at a reasonable cost, the VFX wouldn't be selling for $100-$150 and the SD-1 for $300-$500 on Ebay......

found on Route66studios.com or syntaur.com.
