I can tell that a "on-board" sound card is no god
til play or record midi from keybord o PC.
It has to be a stand alone sound card. I have
resently changes my soundcard, but I still have a problem, so I have to ask you
nice people to help with the setting on the VFX.
I use Cubase VST. Do anyone know about this program
to record from the keyborrd, I wil be glad to hear from you.

Sounds pretty basic ...
If you want to get into this you might want to educate
yourself a bit
about MIDI. Try Google with "MIDI tutorial". One of
the first figures
e.g. in http://www.borg.com/~jglatt/tutr/whatmidi.htm
shows how to
connect your equipment.
You didn't say if you got a PC or a MAC. However, you
need a MIDI
interface and a pair of cables. More specific qestions
and some details
what you've tried helps to get answers. RTFM helps
too.
