Hi! I bought mine VFX SD in June 1991. It is still in condition as new. I have replaced the battery last year. I got no messege of low battery but I think it was time so I replaced it. The VFD SD had the hard-wire fix done allready when I got it. Regards Jonas Hakansson Sweden.
