Thanks for the responses. I have the original ROM so I can't use the 4.1 disks. And the link at the archive site goes to E-mu and dead- ends. They apparently have no Ensoniq items or support any more. Claus - I might take you up on your offer. I thought it interesting you said you were in DK. Are you a ham also? And yes, my SD-1 and I have been close friends for a long time. I got the first SD-1 in my area. It's got lots of time on it in both the studio and stage and it has worked perfectly from day one. An interesting aside - it still has the original battery in it. I know I should change it, but it's become a challenge now - how long will it last?
