Need SD-1 OS/Sequencer

Need SD-1 OS/Sequencer

2006-05-24 by Scott

I have an early SD-1 (OS 3.0) and desperately need a copy of the OS /
Sequencer disks. This rig ran flawlessly for 15 years until last week
when I managed to overwrite the sequencer.

So if someone is willing to make me a copy it would be appreciated.
Naturally, I'd be happy to reimburse reasonable costs.

hi,
I actually have the 4.1 Factory operating system disk for the sd-1 synthesizer I kept this disk after I sold my synth. I am willing to sell it for 15.00 I know it seems expensive but keep in my mind these disks have been discontinued for years

Thanks for the responses. I have the original ROM so I can't use the
4.1 disks. And the link at the archive site goes to E-mu and dead-
ends. They apparently have no Ensoniq items or support any more.

Claus - I might take you up on your offer. I thought it interesting
you said you were in DK. Are you a ham also? And yes, my SD-1 and I
have been close friends for a long time. I got the first SD-1 in my
area. It's got lots of time on it in both the studio and stage and it
has worked perfectly from day one. An interesting aside - it still has
the original battery in it. I know I should change it, but it's become
a challenge now - how long will it last?

I did finally find it at E-mu under a link titled "E-MU Legacy Hardware
Instrument support". Not a very intuitive link, but it was there.
Thanks for directing me back there.
