Have a
look into http://www.mcwest.org/~mccreary/vfx/ for
instructions to find out which SW version you need. Then download the disk images and the
ede109 program from the file section in this group. The included doc file's not
very evasive on systems other than Win90 (with less than 2Mhz???). You can do it
with other systems, too. Instructions are in vfxtools in the file
section.
You're saying you've trashed your system. When the SD
doesn't come up at all you can't fix it with a system disk. The system disk only
holds the sequencer software. Everything else works out of the built in memory
chip. You can try to reset (PRESET + SOFTBTN3) or re-initialize
(PRESET + SOFTBTN1, kills all user defined sounds)
