Please define "won't power up".....if you
have switched the power switch on and off a few times and mean there are no
lights, no display, etc....check the power cord, fuse, etc.....or maybe the
power supply has gone......the battery will not keep the unit from lighting
up....

There is a modification that can be done to a normal cartridge where
you change the preset PROM for a EEPROM.

Ive got a VPC-100 cartidge here.
Infact i thinking of selling my VFX as im moving soon and i need to
downsize everything.
