Sounds like the 5 volt power supply is gone
or an internal fuse is blown, but probably the supply because you are getting
some supply voltage to the display.
Unless you know or are a good technician
who is ready to jump on it and repair/replace the supply....it sounds like you
better find another vfx, vfx-sd or sd1 to use for your weekend gig until you
repair your 16 year old sd1 baby.....
