Any USB MIDI interface will work. Try to go step by step.
- install midiox
- plug in your interface
- if necessary, install the drivers provided for your interface (ok, your OS must be supported)
- the Swissonic must show up in the midiox interface list
When you've come that far take your SD
- connect your SD to the Swissonic: midi-in to midi-out and vice versa
- open the midiox midi monitor
- you should now see the midi messages coming in when you're pressing keys and play along
Ok? Then sending sysex files should work as well:
- enable sysex messages in the SD system midi menu!!
- open the midiox sysex window, load a .syx or a .syx and send it to the interface connected with the VFX
A bank goes to the internal ram replacing the old one, a single patch goes to the edit buffer from where you can store it to the internal ram.
Oh, and there's a manual for both the SD and midiox.
I hope that helps.
