Older midi systems had a cut off built into the midi battery circuit. When the battery fails, the machine quits making sound. You might need to change the battery in the midi circuit. I don't know if the SD-1 has the cutoff in it, but I know it is supposed to tell you when the battery is failing. One time I accidentally plugged the amp connections in wrong and thought the SD-1 was failing. No sound might be a bad cord, a jack or plug that isn't all the way in, or an onboard fuse. --- On Sat, 10/18/08, ansynel <ansynel@...> wrote: From: ansynel <ansynel@...> Subject: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] no sound to my sd1 To: Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com Date: Saturday, October 18, 2008, 9:43 AM hello, have you ever had this problem?
