Re: Help locating sounds

2001-11-14 by Ric

you might check
http://www.fatsnake.com/syntaur/vfx.html

they have the ensoniq cart patch lists for VPC101-105 and VSD1000-1004
I picked up the 'manual' for the VPC100 sounds, that came with the
VFX,
but don't have the Cart !

Im in the process of getting Sounddiver to talk to my VFX right now,
but Sysex dumps an loads are the whole point.
you can find disks of VFX sounds, and theres a util to let a pc
read and write them, so you could also get sounds off disk, to
download via sysex. IF you can't find what your looking for off the
net.

HEY, does anybody know where the VFX patch archive went ???
I was going to point her to it, but its gone, atleast the page
I had a link to

http://www.cs.colorado.edu/vfx/vfx_archive.html

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
