Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

If memory serves, if you select the soft button under "Ignore" when the calibration error comes up, the keyboard will boot normally, just without the use of the keyboard itself.

I found this out when using a VFX-SD on a gig before we actually knew what the keyboard problem was. This would have been in 1990 or 1991 I believe.  I had to MIDI the VFX-SD to a Yamaha DX-7 and play the VFX from the Yamaha.  It worked fine.

Maybe this would still be the case in rack-mounting the VFX.  I would love to actually see one completed because it would be something I would want to do as well.  Now I have to find another VFX-SD......  I only have one now: sold the other about 2 months ago.....
