Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Howdy

I recently got a replacement VFX-SD up and running after my original took a dump a year ago. Everything is working fine except that some of the sounds I programmed on the old VFX-SD as well as some of the stock sounds are not playing like I remember them. The Mega Piano patch is the worst. It sounds like a percussion patch. My question: Are there some chips I need to swap out with my old VFX or am I stuck with this problem. Most of the sounds are fine and I swapped all the sequencer chips which is what I wanted the VFX to do in the first place, but I sure miss the Mega Piano sound, especially the piano patch with strings. 

Glad this group is still around because I still love my VFX and I've got plans to get it "hooked up" to the PC so I can share some of my sounds.
