Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

I have the same issue with many of the patches loaded from "the lot" found in the files section.  

Some patches play a fast sequenced percussion loop when I strike the keys

I always thought these were for the SD-1, or the VFX SD2......

Anyways - yes is there a chip to make these work on the VFX-SD?
