Hi Doug, I think that's interesting because, I see ESQ carts all the time, and I think I have about 8 of them; however, I don't have a single one for my VFX-SD. When they do show up, they're wickedly expensive. As an aside, the last time I tried to purchase VFX carts of the fleabay, I got into a serious conflict with the seller that went on for months (they eventually found in my favor). Carts are much easier to use, in terms of workflow. If you leave a cartridge in all the time, its like a memory expansion; rather than, having to overwrite frequently to load up floppies. I would very gladly trade anyone here one my ESQ carts for a VFX RAM cart. Take care! -Patrick --- In Ensoniq-VFX-SD@yahoogroups.com, "synthparts" <synthparts@...> wrote: > > Just a friendly suggestion here but those ESQ/SQ80 carts are useful and hard to come by as they are. Why destroy one rare part to make another one? The VFX SD and SD-1 have floppy drives which is a much cheaper storage option already. > > Doug
