So the question beckons...is anyone here interested in Richards on board/internal 9 bank switchable memory board? This sits inside your VFXSD/SD1 and connects directly to your cart cable, you still have access and use of the top cart slot giving you the storage of 10 carts via a small rotary switch on the back of the synth.Stacy at Route 66
Hi Doug,
I think that's interesting because, I see ESQ carts all the time, and I think I have about 8 of them; however, I don't have a single one for my VFX-SD. When they do show up, they're wickedly expensive. As an aside, the last time I tried to purchase VFX carts of the fleabay, I got into a serious conflict with the seller that went on for months (they eventually found in my favor).
Carts are much easier to use, in terms of workflow. If you leave a cartridge in all the time, its like a memory expansion; rather than, having to overwrite frequently to load up floppies.
I would very gladly trade anyone here one my ESQ carts for a VFX RAM cart.
Take care!
