as you can use your own samples and pads dont tend to use resonance
and you can use transwaves and the waveboy disks
some of the best digital synths never used resonant filters m1 wavestation t1 t2 t3 vfx sd1 sq1/2/r dx7 tx81z and many others

so the advice is: don't buy ANYTHING. program your own patches with the SD-1!!!

I don't get why he should be buying a TS10 or ASR10 when none of those has resonant filters! what's the advantage in buying synths that are very similar to the SD1?
