its a hd drive but the floppy controller is only a
dsdd controller
and its a weaker magnetic signal as the tape
matterial is different to a hd diskette
get a dry disk cleaner pop it in and do some load
instructions this will wipe the muck off
if it dirty
if it still does not work then either the heads are
miss aligned or its shot
get an hxc floppy emulator

ie all diskettes look like a DD to it.
