Oh dear. Someone needs to learn English law, as you've just effectively stated that every charity operating in the UK is illegal! We are lucky to live in a country that has state funded healthcare, but I am not going to poke that troll any more - instead I'll poke another one instead.

Some questions have been as to the legitimacy of the post. I am very well versed in IT security and phishing scams. This email had personal information in it that related to this group, was asking for funds via a public escrow system, and the sender is answering questions. Three things that scams do not do. They tend to be highly generic in their writing with only the senders name as any kind of personalisation. They tend to use direct fund transfers or physical mail, which are not traceable like Paypal is. And finally the sender doesn't tend to respond, especially in the case of email hijacking.

Get it right before pointing a finger otherwise you too are just acting like a troll.
