Hello Scott,
Obviously, you need have installed a midi card on your computer. To proceed
with the transfer from the *.syx files to SD-1 you can do it, for example
with Cakewalk or another sequencer, thru SysEx View. There you load the syx
file and later use Transfer Button to send the info to a SD-1. Then you can
save the info on a disk, and you got a new disk with the new info.
Another way, is using Soundlib. If files are already loaded, all you need is
use Transfer (I don't remember which name is avalaible in Soundlib because I
use Cakewalk) to send the info to synth.
Remember check your MIDI setup before do anything.
