Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

Thanks to those who responded to my 'dieing battery' inquiry. I
appreciate all you helpful folks out there. 
The battery for the SD-1 is a different and much larger battery (and more
expensive) than the one used in the VFX. It is available from
www.route66studios.com and from Radio Shack via mail order for $12-$14
plus $2-$4 shipping. While this is certainly convenient, I called a local
electronics supply company and got the same battery for $7 via special
order with no shipping charge. I'm not saying the good people at Route 66
or Radio Shack are not a good choice, but wanted to make the group aware
that there may be another alternative in your local area as there was for
me.
