This acts just like a cart but is switch-able between 4 additional memory
banks and the original cart.  You would have to manually select which
memory bank you wanted to work from.

No OS mod is necessary at all.

Yes..but you would have to switch to the cart position.

My thoughts on the pricing: We all know that the VFX series is not a
$1000 machine, it's prices range is now around $300 to $600. With this in
mind it's clear that no one is going to spend hundreds of dollars on a
memory expander and the ability to manufacture memory boards now is quite
inexpensive. I can't give an exact pricing but the range could be around
$50 to $80.
