I've been quietly
lurking on the yahoo list now for some time, and I've just developed a problem
with my VFX-SD ver2. I hope someone can shed some light on
this.
I was playing
merrily along, and quite suddenly, I lost all functionality. No sound, no
lights, and on the display, only the far end columns are lit, and those only
faintly. A little internal inspection and troubleshooting indicates that
the two 2A internal fuses on the power supply board are blown. I cannot
_see_ any other damage, nothing smells bad, and all internal connectors and
chips are properly seated. Before I pop another pair of fuses in (and
possibly cause further damage), I'm wondering what commonly causes these two
fuses to blow.
