The process for recording, saving and transmitting sys-ex data received via
MIDI to disk are detailed starting on page 11-20 of the Musician's Manual.
In this manner, the VFX-SD can be used as a MIDI sys-ex storage device for
anything in your rig. Cool.
If you've got program data in sys-ex format, and you want to transfer it to
disk, send it to the keyboard via MIDI using any sys-ex transfer utility,
then save the program(s) out to disk in native format. The process for
receiving sys-ex program data via MIDI is on pages 11-13 thru 11-15.
This assumes a version 1.4 or later VFX-SD, and a Musician's Manual version
1.4.

Subject: [Ensoniq-VFX-SD] Looking for EDM Clone
Hi,
I\ufffdm looking for a shareware/freeware tool to create, copy and merge
VFX-SD disks on my PC. Does anybody know such a EDM-clone tool?
Is there a way to get sys-ex files to disk, so that my SD can read
it, may be a converter or something like that?
Thanks,
Gisi
