Patches and discussion for Ensoniq VFX family

As I don't have many public performances I'm using headphones to the great
relief of my neighbours and my family. For public  I was using a guitar amp
most of the times and, at home, I sometimes connect to my digital piano.
Both is not very satisfying. When I asked for a proper keyboard amp in some
music shops it came to me as a surprise that there is obviously not much in
the market. The internet too wasn't very helpful so far. Recommendations
range from taking a bass amp with at least a 15' speaker to a small PA. with
two boxes.
There are very few amps specified as 'keyboard amps'. The Behringer KX-12000
seems to be a good choice. However, for my home it would be kind of a
monster.

Can anybody advise me what to use best to please my neighbours ;-)  ?
Are there any experiences with smaller equipment? Any suggestions are
welcome.
