Nathan and Ralph, thanks for responding. I do know about the touch settings. Even on the lightest setting, pounding on the keys will only produce a velocity of about 90. A reasonably hard key strike is closer to 70. Does anyone know if this is normal or does it indicate that some service is required? It does seem like the touch might be reasonable for the VFXs own voices. It is just the MIDI output that seems not to provide velocity information that is high enough for external synths.
